EmergX Capital Partners UK Limited is developing the club as a membership programme. Its enterprise-management responsibilities are separately defined through the relevant company appointments. Each enterprise remains accountable for its business and legal obligations.
EmergX and participating enterprises may have common ownership, directors or service arrangements. These connections can create conflicts when an enterprise seeks investment. Relevant relationships and remuneration will be disclosed for each opportunity.
The proposed release process includes independent challenge of the fundraising business’s valuation and terms, documented consideration of conflicts and review of the information supplied to members. No enterprise receives automatic access to member capital.
The investment process is being developed. Where regulated activities are required, they will be undertaken only under the applicable authorised or otherwise legally permitted arrangements. Responsible entities and their roles will be identified before an opportunity is made available.
Any membership charges, issuer fees, commissions or ongoing charges will be explained in the relevant terms. Investment documents must distinguish money raised for the enterprise from proceeds paid to an existing shareholder selling shares.
Contact EmergX through the website if you have a question about the club or wish to raise a concern. Where a concern relates to a separate investment provider or issuer, the relevant process will identify the responsible organisation and complaint route
